Using more modern station names for the stations that are marked on the map, the line runs from London - Nine Elms or Vauxhall Station; through Clapham Junction, Wimbledon, Surbiton, Esher, Walton, Weybridge, Woking, Surrey; Farnborough, Winchfield or Hook, Basingstoke, Micheldever, Winchester, the junction at Eastleigh for the branch to Gosport, to Southampton, Hampshire.
