Map, uncoloured engraving, Map of the Meets of the Hampshire Hounds, scale about 5 miles to 1 inch, published in the Sporting Review, by I Mitchell, 33 Old Bond Street, London, 1 March 1842.
The meets are marked by a cross (X), and their name, with a figure for the miles form Alresford, where the kennels of the Hampshire Hunt are situated; there is an attached descriptive text.
Although not the topic of this map it is worth noting that it shows the London and Southampton Railway from roughly where it enters Hampshire to about Bishopstoke, and the Gosport Junction Railway branching off there.
