The pages seen are an incomplete text, torn from their volume,
in the Map Collection of Hampshire CC Museum Service, items
HMCMS:FA2004.2.1 to .4. Translations of Latin passages are by
Andrew Pierssene, to whom we are grateful; and to whom I
apologise if I've misunderstood his notes.

The page size is: wxh, sheet = 21x48cm.

The sheets in the collection include parts of the preface,
most of the the general description of the British Isles, the
Hampshire text, a contents page, and an ?advertisement for the
atlas.

The general description of England, Scotland and Ireland
begins with a preface about William Camden, headed:-

that is:-

|
The preface pages are unnumbered; the general text is pages 1
to 76. The sheet with pages 1 and 2 is missing, p.1 is a map; the
sheet for pp.11/2 is missing, p.11 is a map; the sheet for
pp.53/54 is missing, p. 53 is a map; the sheet for pp.67/68 is
missing, p.67 is a map. The maps are indentified in the contents
list below.

The text has some major subdivisions:-

|
|
The atlas text is organised by the territories of the british
tribes. Page 105 is the start of the:-

The first english county in this region is:-

|
|
|
The Hampshire text is on pages 105-111, followed by Wiltshire
beginning on 112.

Towards the end of the volume was a contents page, an index to
