 Frontispiece, uncoloured engraving, for the atlas of the counties of England and Wales by Christopher Saxton, published London, 1579.
In the centre Elizabeth I is enthroned beneath a canopy, patron of Geography and Astronomy who are represented figures at the sides, on the right holding compasses and a globe, on the left with an armillary sphere. This is the later state of the illustration.
