These notes are taken from the map of Hampshire by Edward Weller, published in the Geography of Hampshire, by J Walton, Horfield, Bristol, published by William Collins, Sons and Co, Bridewell Place, New Bridge Street, London, 1870s? The map studied is in the Map Collection of Hampshire CC Museum Service, item HMCMS:B1963.2.1.
