A circle with paddles is drawn in the Bourne Rivulet between Hurstbourne and St Mary Bourne. This is Chapmansford Mill.

ruins John Norden uses a 'crossing out' to indicate places that are ruined and decayed. This is applied to a variety of symbols, for example:-
