Hampshire route diagram, Morden 1701, smaller county
map, amended by Moll, 1708
The following notes have been made without having available
the original map of 1701.
Moll's text amendments are few and can be distinguished
because they are in a slightly smaller and darker italic.
They are mostly related to roads, for example Hith
Ferry and to Senan. The destinations are
written so that those on the left are upside down.

Both mapmakers seem to have drawn roads on this map, but
the two sets of roads are not easily distinguished. It is
likely that the original set of roads included those
which appeared on Morden's 1690s county map. Several
amendments have been made to these roads here, probably
by Moll, so that they match Ogilby's routes more
closely:-
