-- The two bells. The treble bell is inscribed:- 'IHESS [ decoration] ZyX / [inverted T]' -- and the tenor:- 'MARIA [decoration] ZyX / [inverted T]' -- The bells are a pair, similar to pairs at Loweswater and at Whicham, dating from the early 15th century.
