OF PHOTOS - 28 / SPECIMENS FOUND - PIECES OF GALENA, BLENDE AND COPPER PYRITES / COMMENTS - VERY WARM DAY. BORROWED A LAND ROVER TODAY, TO TAKE US OVER THE ROUGH PART OF THE ROAD, PARKED THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY UP THE VALLEY, AND WALKED THE REST OF THE WAY UP TO THE MINES. ONE LEVEL IS STILL OPEN BUT FILLED WITH WATER, TOO DEEP TO ENTER, THE REST OF THE ENTRANCES TO THIS MINE, ARE SHAFTS, ALSO FILLED WITH WATER, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE DEEP OPEN CUT WHICH IS DRY. A VERY GOOD DAY. | ||
