House. Mid to late C17 with early C18 alterations, outbuilding probably later. Stone rubble, the house roughcast, slate roof, corrugated iron to outbuilding. L-plan, 2 storeys. South elevation of 6 bays with blocked windows to 3rd and 5th bays. Dripcourse over ground floor. Cross casement windows with opening lights; 5th bay has 3-light window to ground floor, with king mullion and inner post. Entrance to 3rd bay has C20 glazed gabled porch. Cross-axial and gable-end stacks. Outbuilding has entrance and 2 windows. East return of 3 bays has dripcourse over 1st floor. Varied casements to windows; attic window to 1st bay. North elevation has gable-end stack to east wing, with attached outbuilding and lean-to outshut to right return. Stair bay slightly higher than next 2 bays, under raking roof; narrow casement window. 2 bays have fixed glazing with opening lights or sashed lights. Entrance. Outbuilding to right has re-entrant lean-to outshut; entrance to right. End 1st floor entrance up steps and small lights. West return has lean-to pigsties. Interior has chamfered beams; stair has turned balusters, square newels and moulded handrails. Blocked 2-light wooden mullioned window to head of stair. 2-panel attic door. Attic has 4 collar trusses, 2 with sawn-through tie beams, supported on posts and braces to north side. 6 blocked 3-light wooden- chamfered-mullioned windows to south side, some with leaded glazing, diamond quarries, some ornamental. East wing has upper cruck trusses and 2 blocked 2-light windows with intermediate bars.
