House and bank barn. C17 or early C18, barn probably later. Stone rubble, the house roughcast, and slate roofs. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Most windows have casements, but that to 1st bay of ground floor is sashed with vertical glazing bars and horns. Entrance has gabled porch. Gable-end stack. Left return has small lean-to to outshut. Rear has stair projection under cat slide roof. Some windows have timber lintels. Barn has quoins. Entrance has segmental head; 2 small windows, winnowing door and ventilation slots above. Rear has projection and entrance pentice under cat slide roof. Return has 2 segmental-headed entrances and diamond owl hole. Interior of house has stop-chamfered beams, plank and muntin partition with 2-panel door, and stone dog-leg stair. Cow house partitions to barn. Property of the National Trust. _

Barn and outbuildings. Possibly C18. Stone rubble with slate roof. L-plan wing parallel to Hole House has entrance with timber lintel, 2-light wooden mullioned window and pitching hole to right. Left return has ventilation slots to gable end; barn has pivoted doors and outshut under cat slide roof to left, which has return entrance. Right return has blocked entrances, one under dripstone. Rear has C20 lean-to shed. Interior has tie beam trusses. Property of the National Trust.
