The boundary stone is lying in the grass about 20 feet north of the fence line, close to the old line of iron fencing. The letters on north/south faces are:-
L /H
but only the H is visible, the other letter is hidden below.
L for Lowther, H for Harrison. The boundary incdentally marks the parish boundary between Longsleddale and Shap.
