| Home of Richard Watson (1737-1816) Bishop of Llandaff and Whig politician. House now appears early C19. Entrance front 3 storeys, with centre semi- circular Tuscan porch with cornice, round-headed doorway and flanking windows, two other windows on ground floor and three on 1st floor in Tuscan pilastered architraves with cornices on brackets; 3 6-paned sashes on top floor. All windows in moulded frames. Main cornice on brackets. 2-storeyed side wings in symmetrical composition, with 2 similar sash windows on each floor. Exclude modern extensions at each end. Was used as a hospital, now empty. | ||
