Built with the money left by John Kelsick to the Kelsick
Educational Trust for the education of children in
Ambleside. There was first a preaching teacher at St Anne's
Church. Later there was a proper school built up the
Stockghyll Road, used from 1908-65; which is now an annexe
of St Martin's College.
