Hotel now house. Circa 1830. Painted stucco with V-jointed quoins and moulded cornice; graduated greenslate roof, ashlar chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Plank door with painted-over patterned fanlight; prostyle Ionic porch. 2-pane sash windows in raised painted stone surrounds. Built as an hotel to cater for the passenger traffic on the nearby Carlisle Canal. Outbuildings to rear are of no interest.
