Row of 3 cottages. Late C18-early C19, altered. Roughcast and ruled stucco, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 1:1:1 windows to 1st floor. Nos 2 & 2A are probably C18 and formed from 1 house: two C20 doors in centre; C20 casement to each floor on right; 2-light casement on left under basket arch, plain sash over. No.4 appears to be later: part-glazed door in painted surround on left of tall C20 casement to each floor; projecting sills and thin surrounds. Party-wall ridge stack to right of No.4. Included for group value in important Market Place setting.
