Cottage. Late C17-early C18, altered. Roughcast over stone, composition tile and graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 windows to 1st floor. Glazed door to right of centre; 2-light casement to its left and 3-light casement to right; projecting sills. Tall square-headed carriage entrance on left gives access to King's Mount (qv); above is a 2-light casement. Window to 1st floor on right appears to have been a 3-light chamfered mullioned window with its sill cut away, the mullions moved to each side and a 2-light casement inserted. Large external end stack on right.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Forms part of Market Place group.
