| Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18; altered. Slobbered rubble with large quoins, stone slate roof. Broad T-plan formed by single-depth 2-unit main range on east-west axis, facing north, with a large rear outshut to the centre under a catslide roof; and a lean-to addition at the left end. | ||
| EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 2 widely-spaced 1st-floor windows; with a plinth, and a continuous weathered drip-course over the ground floor. The ground floor has a square-headed doorway offset slightly left of centre (protected by a light pitched canopy on wooden struts); a square 8-pane sash to the left, with vertical glazing bars only, and a rectangular fire-window further left with fixed 9-pane glazing; and an oblong 3-light casement to the right. Above each of the 2 principal windows at ground floor is a square 8-pane sash like that at ground floor. Corbelled chimneys at both gables, that to the left square, more prominently corbelled and from a lower level than that to the right. At the rear the outshut and 2nd bay are back-to-earth at ground-floor level; the outshut has one square window on each floor of its east side, and another small window in the rear wall, and the rear of the 2nd bay has a 2-light casement at 1st floor. | ||
| INTERIOR: stone partition wall immediately right of doorway, C19 inserted partition to left of doorway; 2 lateral beams in housepart to left, both boxed; no beams visible in kitchen to right; dairy and staircase in rear outshut. A good example of its type and date. Forms group with barn approx. 5m to west (qv) and stable approx. 10m to north (qv). | ||

| Stable, now store. Probably C18; altered. Random rubble with quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular 2-bay plan on east-west axis. Two low storeys. The south side has external steps up to a loft doorway, and a small square window left of this. The west gable has a doorway in the centre with a stone lintel and a stone drip-course over it, a square 6-pane window to the left and a very small window to the right. | ||
| INTERIOR: chimney-breast and fireplace at 1st floor of west gable end. Part of a significant rural group with East Banks Farmhouse (qv) and barn to west of East Banks Farmhouse (qv). | ||

| Barn. Probably early C18; altered and extended. Roughly-coursed sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. Long rectangular plan on north-south axis, forming west side of farmyard; with C20 shippon added to rear. The east front has a continuous stone slate drip-course; a low segmental-headed wagon archway in the centre (the right-hand half now blocked), with long rubble voussoirs; 2 square-headed shippon doorways to the right, the first coupled with a square window to its left and the second with a square unglazed window above it. The wall above the drip course has small square breathers. The south end is built into a rising slope. | ||
| INTERIOR: wagon doorway opposed to that at the front, but now covered by the C20 shippon; lateral partitions to north of wagon entrances; roof of early C18 collar trusses; chimney-breast built against north gable wall. Forms group with East Banks Farmhouse (qv), and with stable approx.10m north of East Banks Farmhouse (qv). | ||
