| House. C18. Painted stone rubble with slate roof. One storey, 2 bays. Windows have casements, that to 2nd bay is small, with iron opening light. Central entrance with later timber porch. Left return has gable-end stack and small attic window. Rear has window. A rare example of a one-room cottage plan. Property of the National Trust, the gift of Beatrix Potter. , | ||
