| House. Early C19. Painted roughcast walls with V-jointed quoins, under graduated greenslate roof with coped gables; roughcast chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Panelled door under radial fanlight in pilastered pedimented doorcase. Flanking 2-storey canted bay windows have sashes with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. Originally called Skiddaw Bank and was the residence of Mr Dover in 1829, the owner of the nearby woollen mill. | ||
