Schoolhouse and classroom extension, now estate house for the Musgrave estate. Probably mid C18 with extensive mid C19 alterations. Red sandstone rubble walls with string course and V-jointed quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; banded red sandstone chimney stacks with stone caps. 2 1/2 storeys, 3 bays with lower right 2-bay extension. Projecting central Tudor-style gabled stone porch with shaped bargeboards. 2-, 3- and 4-light stone-mullioned windows and C19 gabled dormers. Extension has gable bargeboards; Musgrave coat-of-arms on return wall and truncated bellcote. Rear stone porch and chamfered-surround windows.
