| Original house. Lintel dated H.R. M.R. 1606 but may incorporate earlier material; built for Hugh Rayson, rector of Ousby Church 1583-1611. Extensively reconstructed in late C20. Coursed rubble with quoins. Graduated slate roof has stone end chimneys; coping to north end. 2 storeys. Part-glazed door in convex-moulded surround under hoodmould with decorative labels. Window to left surrounds (mullions now removed) under hoodmoulds with decorative labels. Blocked fire window to ground floor extreme right has chip-carved lintel. Original single, and mullioned 2-light, windows survive to rear which had central gabled stair wing added in late C17. House at present (1983) being extended into former outbuilding adjoining east end. Internally, C20 subdivisions have been inserted and little survives from the earlier work except the closed string staircase which has turned balusters, moulded handrail and square newels. | ||

| House, built as new front to Hall in C18 but now (1983) internally separated from original Cl7 house. Incised stucco with rusticated quoins to south-east corner, incorporates earlier walling and plinth to north-west. Hipped, graduated slate roof with corniced stone end chimneys. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Panelled door to right of centre has sashes with glazing bars in stone surrounds to either side and above. Few original internal features retained. | ||

| Barn/byre, has shields with I.R., A.R., and 1691 carved around elliptical head of blocked wagon door on side facing road. Forms east range of courtyard. Coursed rubble with quoins under raised, corrugated asbestos roof. 3 original segmental head to wagon; door, right of centre. Lower range adjoining to south-west not included. | ||

| Byre, forming west range to courtyard; probably late Cl7, with alterations. Coarsed, squared rubble with quoins under graduated stone flag roof. 2 storeys. 2 original doorways with false 4-centred heads, one to ground floor west and the other (blocked) to 1st floor south. Present hay loft access up steps on north side. Various other windows and doors, mainly later additions. Listed for group value; adjoining buildings not included. | ||
