2 shops with accommodation above. Early to mid C19. Painted scored render with slate roof. 3 storeys. The buildings almost form a mirrored pair of one bay each, but No.46 has a second window to the left on the 1st floor. The ground floors are occupied by timber shop fronts with a continuous fascia and cornice and with adjacent doorways. The wall below each shop window is of rock-faced limestone, and the right-hand shop (No.46) has a bowed window. The windows to the upper storeys have plain reveals and projecting painted stone sills. No.48 has a glazing bar sash on the 1st floor and a 6-pane sash on the 2nd floor. No.46 has sashes without glazing bars on the 1st floor and a 6-pane sash on the 2nd floor. Chimneys to left and right.
