This lifeline diagram summarises the subsequent migratory histories of everyone who belonged to the Bolton branch of the SEM in 1835. The length of the line shows how far we can trace them. Men whose line is entirely in red never left Bolton, as far as we know, but those partly in blue spent some period in another branch. Eventually, we hope it will be possible to find out more about any man by clicking on their lifeline, but for now the four green arrows down the right hand side point to the lines for which more information is available -- clicking on these lines will bring up both maps showing the man's movements and a summary of their history.
